Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the Lenden mobile application ("Application") created by Samith Chowdhury ("Service Provider"). Lenden is designed with privacy as a core principle — all your data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server operated by the Service Provider.

2. Information We Collect

The Application does not require registration and does not collect any personal information when you download or use it. No account, email address, or identifying information is required to use Lenden.

3. Location Data

The Application does not collect precise or approximate location data from your device at any time.

4. Third-Party Access

Since the Application does not collect any information, no data is shared with or sold to third parties.

5. Google Drive Backup (Optional)

If you choose to connect Google Drive in the app's Profile screen, Lenden will store a backup of your data in a private appDataFolder on your own Google Drive account. This folder is not visible in your regular Drive interface and is accessible only to the Lenden app. The Service Provider never has access to this backup. You can revoke this access and delete the backup at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6. Opt-Out & Data Deletion

You can stop all use of the Application by uninstalling it via your device's standard uninstall process. All local data is removed when the app is uninstalled. See the Delete Your Data page for full instructions on removing all data including any Drive backups.

7. Children

The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor their children's use of the Application.

8. Security

Because the Application does not transmit or store data on any server, there is no risk of your data being accessed by unauthorised individuals on the Service Provider's end. Your data security is governed by the security of your own device and Google account.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
